Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?
We get this question all the time. With other
places in town promising permanent results and
giving written guarantees, maintenance plans,
etc., that is a good question.
When a hair follicle is treated, the heat from the
laser permanently destroys the root of that hair
and a few of the "buds" of the next hairs from that
same follicle. This is why to get "permanent"
results, you must time your treatments for a hair
cycle - usually every 4-6 weeks. Those that are
destroyed are permanently gone. Once you have
had enough treatments, and this varies from client
to client, you will have permanent removal of hair
from that follicle. Most clients require an average
of 6 treatments for permanent results, but some
may need more.
Because clients are individuals, we do not offer
written guarantees, but will inform you if you have
any medical condition, etc, that may decrease the
success of your results or require changes in our
treatment plan. We offer alternative treatment
scheduling and regimens for clients who may need
individualized treatment plans to achieve desired
